Two luminescent enantiomorphic 3D metal–organic frameworks with 3D homochiral double helices

Abstract

Two enantiomorphic Cd(II) coordination polymers with three-dimensional homochiral double helices have been assembled respectively from two tripodal enantiopure amino acid derivatives, which exhibit (3,4)-connected (63)(63.103) topology and strong purple fluorescence.
