An octacobaltcluster based, (3,12)-connected, magnetic, porous coordination polymer

Abstract

Solvothermal reaction of CoSO4 with 2,6-di-p-carboxyphenyl-4,4′-bipyridine affords a novel, octacobalt cluster based, (3,12)-connected porous framework, which exhibits gas sorption and spin-glassy magnetic behaviour.
