Dimeric nanocapsule induces conformational change

Abstract

An induced cistranstrans (rctt) chair to cone structural rearrangement is forced by the addition of a pentacoordinate zinc(II) complex, overcoming thermodynamic and kinetic factors to produce the first phenyl-substituted zinc dimeric nanocapsule.
