“Clickable” elastins: elastin-like polypeptides functionalized with azide or alkyne groups

Abstract

Elastin-like polypeptides (ELPs) functionalized with azide or alkyne groups were produced biosynthetically and coupled via the Cu-catalyzed azidealkyne cycloaddition to a variety of (bio)molecules.
