Trimorphism in solid resorcinarenes

Abstract

Nonylresorcinarene, in contrast to methylresorcinarene and nonylpyrogallene, exists in three isolable phases: a layer structure, a hexamer and an amorphous phase; the three are in thermal equilibrium.
