X-Ray photoreduction of a di(μ-oxo)MniiiMniv complex occurs at temperatures as low as 20 K

Abstract

Full reduction of the MnIII(μ-O)2MnIV core to MnII(μ-OH2)2MnII is observed upon irradiation by an X-ray beam at ca. 20 K.
