Cu@C60 formation in rf-plasma and ring-current induced magnetism of C60

Abstract

A new endofullerene, Cu@C60, was synthesized and isolated. Ring-current induced diamagnetic interior and paramagnetic exterior of C60 have been quantitatively described using the Cu probe.
