Chemical synthesis of turbostratic carbon nitride, containing C–N crystallites, at atmospheric pressure

Abstract

For the first time the synthesis of crystallite-embedded turbostratic carbon nitride material (t-CNx) from polymer precursor at atmospheric pressure is reported; the C–N crystallites within the material are in the α-C3N4 structure.
