Abstract

1,2;5,6-Naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride has been consecutively photolyzed in a low-temperature argon matrix by wavelength-selective irradiation; dec-5-ene-1,3,7,9-tetrayne, which is the second C10H4 isomer, was generated as the final product.
