A mixed-metal CuII2NiII2 complex derived from a phenol-based heterotetranucleating macrocyclic ligand

Abstract

A new phenol-based tetranucleating macrocycle, having two N(amine)2O2 and two N(imine)2O2 metal-binding sites in the macrocyclic framework, forms a CuII2NiII2 complex of a defective double-cubane structure.
