Versatile behaviour of the phosphanyl salt (Pri2N)2 P+CF3SO3 towards zirconocene derivatives

Abstract

Transfer reactions of various groups (Ph2P[CH2]3–, Ph2C[double bond, length half m-dash]CPh–CH[double bond, length half m-dash]N–, N3, CN, Me, Cl, H) occurred from zirconium to phosphorus in reactions of the phosphanylium salt (Pri2N)2 P+CF3SO3 with zirconocene derivatives; the crystal structure of (Pri2N)2P–CH[double bond, length half m-dash]N–P(NPri2)28 has been determined.
