η3- and η5-ligating modes of 1,3-diphosphacyclopentadienyl rings in structurally related molybdenum complexes. Crystal and molecular structure of [Mo(η5-C5Me5)(η3-P2C3But3)(CO)2] and [Mo(η3-C9H7)(η5-P2C3But3)(CO)2](C9H7= indenyl)

Abstract

The modes of ligation of the two five-membered rings in [Mo(η5-C5Me5)(η3-P2C3But3)(CO)2] and [Mo(η3-C9H7)(η5-P2C3But3)(CO)2] show interesting differences.
