Spin–spin coupling between 119SnII19F and 119SnII–F–119SnIV in SnII2SnIV2F4(O2CR)8·2RCOOH and the X-ray crystal structure of the trifluoroacetate analogue

Abstract

Spin–spin coupling is observed between 119SnII and 19F (1128–635 Hz), and 119SnII and 119SnIV(265–326 Hz) in compounds produced by the reaction of SnF2 with Sn(O2CR)4; the X-ray crystal structure of SnII2SnIV·2F4(O2CCF3)8·2CF3COOH has been determined.
