Cobalt carbonyls with two different bridging carbene ligands: µ2-(but-2-en-4-olide-4-ylidene)-µ2-(2′,2′-disubstituted-ethene-1′-ylidene)dicobalt hexacarbonyl (Co-Co) compounds

Abstract

(µ-2,3-R1,R2-But-2-en-4-olide-4-ylidene)(µ2-1′,1′-R3, R4-ethene-2′-ylidene) dicobalt hexacarbonyl (Co-Co) compounds were prepared from the corresponding (µ-2-2,3-R1,R2-but-2-en-4-olide-4-ylidene)(µ2-CO)Co2(CO)6 compounds and mono- or di-haloacetylenes and characterized by X-ray diffraction and spectra.
