SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Treatment of [(η5-C5H5)2Rh2(CO)2{µ(η1-CF3C2-CF3)}](1) with Me3NO produces [(η5-C5H5)2Rh2(µ-CO){µ(η2-CF3C2CF3)}](2) which forms adducts with CO, AsPh3, P(OMe)3, PMePh2, Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2, SO2, Me2SO, and ButNC; reaction of (2) with alkynes gives binuclear metallodiene and metallodienone complexes and with H2 under mild conditions yields CF3CH2CH2CF3.
