Concentration-dependent photoreaction of benzothiazolyldithioazetidinones: novel photochemical formation of penam derivatives

Abstract

The photoreaction of benzothiazolyl dithioazetidinones is concentration dependent; at low concentrations cepham derivatives are formed almost exclusively, whereas at high concentrations penam derivatives predominate.
