Bioconversion of lanosterol into holotoxingonin, a triterpenoid from the sea cucumber Stichopus californicus

Abstract

Labelled lanosterol is converted 200 times more efficiently than labelled acetate into holotoxinogenin when administrated to the sea cucumber Stichopus californicus.
