The structure of a hydridonaphthylruthenium(II) complex

Abstract

The compound, [Ru pp2(naphthalene)][pp = 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane], whose chemical reactions are consistent with its formulation as an ruthenium (0)–naphthalene complex, has been shown by an X-ray analysis to be, in the solid state, a hydridonaphthylruthenium(II) complex.
