Detection of intermediates in Leuckart reaction by desorption corona beam ionization ambient mass spectrometry

Abstract

Desorption corona beam ionization mass spectrometry, a novel direct MS analysis technique, was first employed to probe intermediates in Leuckart reaction between ketone and ammonium formate at 185 °C to corroborate the reaction mechanism.
