Electrochemical reduction of some 1,4-thienodiazepines at a glassy carbon electrode

Abstract

The electrochemical reduction of four 1,4-thienodiazepines at a rotating disc glassy carbon electrode has been investigated and reduction mechanisms are proposed. The method has been satisfactorily applied to the determination of a 1,4-thienodiazepine in pharmaceutical formulations with coefficients of variation of 1–3%.
