The application of polarography and related electroanalytical techniques to the determination of ethylenebisdithiocarbamates

Abstract

Direct current polarography and several related techniques have been evaluated for the determination of metal derivatives of ethylenebisdithiocarbamic acid, and cathodic stripping analysis has been shown to be the most suitable. Ethylenethiuram monosulphide has been identified as a major breakdown product of the ethylenebisdithiocarbamate anion.
