Nanoconfined membrane reactor-mediated chemoselectivity difference in ring-opening reactions of styrene oxide
Abstract
A graphene oxide-based membrane reactor, with its two-dimensional confined channels, demonstrates potential enzyme-mimetic catalytic performance. Ring-opening reactions of styrene oxide were conducted within these channels, and a different trend in chemoselectivity was observed. The nanoconfinement effect operated not only by spatial confinement but also by enhanced interaction between reactants and catalysts.
