Eutectic Solvent as Electrolytes for Rechargeable Proton Batteries

Abstract

In this work, we developed eutectic electrolytes composed of HTFSA and MTFAA, which form stable hydrogen-bonded liquids functioning as nonflammable proton battery electrolytes. They effectively suppress the dissolution of TiOx that readily dissolves in acidic aqueous media, delivering a reversible capacity of 116 mA h gāˆ’1 after 50 cycles.
