Bent ligand-directed assembly and adsorption property modulation of pseudo-tetrahedral polyoxometalate–organic cages

Abstract

Herein, we present a design strategy for novel pseudo-tetrahedral polyoxovanadate–organic cages employing bent bridging ligands and rigid vanadium clusters. The resulting cage structures exhibit tunable iodine capture capabilities, offering a promising route to porous functional materials with specific architectures.
