Visible-light-induced regioselective amidoperoxidation of alkenes

Abstract

A novel metal-free, photoinduced three-component amidoperoxidation of alkenes, oxime ester, and tert-butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) has been realized. This protocol achieves concurrent C–O (peroxy) and C–N bond formation at room temperature under visible-light irradiation, with distinguished chemo- and regioselectivity. This method delivers β-peroxy amides directly in moderate to excellent yields with a broad substrate scope.
