Efficient synthesis of π-acidic phosphorus-containing porous polymer supported catalysts for hydroformylation of olefins

Abstract

Using the natural product magnolol as the raw material, Rh/POLs-BPa&PPh3 catalysts have been efficiently synthesized for hydroformylation of olefins. The effects of the ratio of BPa/PPh3 ligand monomers and the amount of Rh loading on hydroformylation were studied systematically. In the hydroformylation of olefins, the Rh/POL-BPa&5PPh3 catalyst exhibited excellent catalytic activities (TON up to 9950), high regioselectivities (l/b = 23.4–89.9), and good recyclability (5 recycles).
