Tetra-n-octylammonium bromide-mediated rapid, highly efficient, selective, and recyclable extraction of Fe(iii) from acidic chloride media

Abstract

Tetra-n-octylammonium bromide (TOAB) efficiently and selectively extracts Fe(III) (>99% in 2 min) from acidic chloride media, with low extraction for co-existing metals and high reusability.
