Abstract
This study presents a photoredox-catalyzed and aminoborane-mediated halogen-atom transfer (XAT) approach for the activation of fluoroiodomethane, facilitating the generation of monofluoromethyl radicals. The methodology described herein outlines an economical and versatile strategy for the synthesis of monofluoromethyl compounds by fluoroiodomethane.
