l-Sodium ascorbate-promoted ligand-free Cu-catalyzed hydrodehalogenation of o-halopicolinanilides in water

Abstract

In this work, we explored the L-sodium ascorbate-promoted Cu(OTf)2-catalyzed hydrodehalogenation of o-halopicolinanilides in water for the first time. The catalytic system could regioselectively dehalogenate 2-Br/I of picolinanilides and features a ligand-free and green solvent.
