Realizing the cooking recipe of materials synthesis through large language models

Abstract

We demonstrate the effective use of large language models to transform chemical synthesis protocols from materials literature into easily understandable step-by-step operations, akin to cooking recipes. This translation offers the potential for implementation in computer-aided experimentation, underscoring the significant promise of large language models in advancing materials research endeavors.
