Ru-doped CoS1.097 nanoparticles for improved electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction

Abstract

In this work, a Ru doped CoS1.097 catalyst was synthesized by ion-exchange and one-step hydrothermal sulfuration methods. The incorporation of Ru weakens the adsorption of reaction intermediates on S sites, resulting in the improved HER electrocatalytic performance of CoS1.097 in alkaline solution.
