Molecular design of two-dimensional donor–acceptor covalent organic frameworks for intramolecular singlet fission

Abstract

Two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D-COFs) constitute an ideal platform for the design of novel optoelectronic materials. In this work, the donoracceptor copolymer strategy for intramolecular singlet fission (iSF) is revisited and applied for the tailored design of a functional 2D-COF with iSF capabilities.
