A facile depolymerization reaction enables efficient feedstock recycling of polymerized small molecule acceptors in all-polymer solar cells

Abstract

A facile and efficient depolymerization reaction of polymerized small molecule acceptors (PSMAs) is developed and used for recovering the polymeric monomers from PSMAs in various circumstances. The recycled monomers can be repolymerized to afford new PSMA batches for manufacturing all-PSCs, which contributes to decreasing the unit costs of PSMAs and eventually accelerating the practical application of PSMA-based all-PSCs.
