Fast self-healing solid polymer electrolyte with high ionic conductivity for lithium metal batteries

Abstract

By introducing multiple molecule/intermolecular dynamic reversible hydrogen bonds into the polydimethylsiloxane elastomer system, a solid polymeric electrolyte with high ion conductivity (2.5 × 10−4 S cm−1) and a stable electrochemical window (>5 V) shows a fast self-healing speed.
