Ultrafast N-arylation of sulfoximines enabled by micellar catalysis in water

Abstract

A sustainable and ultrafast protocol was developed for the N-arylation of sulfoximines with aryl bromides in water. The protocol requires low catalyst loading and the synthesis period was shortened to several minutes. The strategy was compatible with diverse aryl bromides and sulfoximines, giving scaffolds in good to excellent yields.
