Tumor microenvironment activated nanoenzyme-based agents for enhanced MRI-guided photothermal therapy in the NIR-II window

Abstract

We report a nanoenzyme-based photothermal agent, in which the nanoenzyme acts as a peroxidase, prodrug carrier, and MRI contrast agent. The formation of a dimer by the prodrug under the catalysis of the nanoenzyme in the tumor microenvironment causes photothermal conversion activation and MRI signal amplification simultaneously.
