1T/1T′-dominated WSe2 with stabilized oxygen dopants for efficient and durable hydrogen evolution

Abstract

For the first time, the importance of the oxidized W species in WSe2 catalysts for HER is revealed. Meanwhile, via a specifically designed yet facile solvothermal strategy, a 1T/1T′ dominated hybrid-phase WSe2 with stabilized oxygen species was obtained, realizing outstanding activity and durability for HER.
