Cu-Catalyzed highly selective silylation and borylation of alkenylsulfonium salts

Abstract

A Cu-catalyzed highly selective silylation and borylation of alkenylsulfonium salts under mild conditions is reported. The reaction provides easy access to various alkenylsilanes and alkenylboranes by forming a C–Si/B bond at the alkenyl moiety of alkenylsulfonium salts with high stereoselectivity, a broad substrate scope and tolerance to various functional groups.
