Multipath oxygen-mediated PET-RAFT polymerization by a conjugated organic polymer photocatalyst under red LED irradiation

Abstract

In this contribution, we propose a novel multipath aerobic-mediated reductive quenching pathway for a photoinduced electron transfer reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer polymerization process, where the in situ production of a superoxide anion radical from molecular oxygen was achieved under red light-emitting diode irradiation in the presence of a conjugated TCPP-DMTA-COP organic polymer with or without the assistance of triethylamine.
