The facile fabrication and high-performance sensing of glucose of sea-urchin-like CoFeLDH/PBA/NF heterojunction†
Abstract
A plethora of efforts have been dedicated to developing electrode materials for the speedy and precise determination of glucose in the past decades. Herein, we successfully design and fabricate a CoFeLDH/PBA/NF heterojunction with sea-urchin-like morphology. The nanocomposite as an electrode realizes a high-performance detection of glucose with an ultra-high sensitivity of 5499 μA mM−1 cm−2, a low limit of detection of 0.1 μM, as well as outstanding reproducibility, stability and selectivity. Such a fabrication strategy opens wide possibilities for the development of more non-enzymatic electrochemical glucose sensors in the future.
