Coupling NiFe-MOF nanosheets with Ni3N microsheet arrays for efficient electrocatalytic water oxidation

Abstract

A MOF material has been grown on metallic transition metal nitride for electrocatalytic OER. The as-prepared hierarchical NiFe-MOF@Ni3N nano/microsheet array electrocatalyst exhibits a low overpotential of 281 mV at a current density of 200 mA cm−2 with a remarkable stability of 50 h.
