Nitrogen and chlorine co-doped carbon dots with synchronous excitation of multiple luminescence centers for blue-white emission†
Abstract
Herein, nitrogen and chlorine co-doped carbon dots (N,Cl-CDs) have the potential to be used in plant lighting owing to their blue-white emission. More importantly, N,Cl-CDs possess both blue (400–500 nm) and red (600–700 nm) emission ranges, which meet the optimal requirement of plant lighting without combining other luminescent materials.
