A DNA-Tetrahedron-Based Molecular Computation Device for Logic Sensing of Dual MicroRNAs in Living Cells

Abstract

Endogenous miRNA expression patterns are well cell type-specific, thereby offering high prediction accuracy regard to different cell identities, compared with single miRNA analysis. “AND” logic gate can be utilized as a DNA computation device that recognize dual-miRNA inputs through strand hybridization activate computation cascades to produce controlled outputs. To integrate all recognition and computing modules within a single structure, a DNA tetrahedron (DT)-based molecular device was constructed to logic sense of dual miRNAs in living cells.
