Synthesis of selenide-containing polymers by multicomponent polymerization based on γ-butyroselenolactone

Abstract

A versatile protocol for the synthesis of various multiresponsive selenide-containing polymeric architectures was developed by multicomponent polymerization (MCP) of primary diamines, γ-butyroselenolactone and electrophilic reagents. The polymer terminal groups could be easily controlled by changing the ratio of the reaction components.
