Self-sacrificial organic lithium salt enhanced initial columbic efficiency for safer and greener lithium-ion batteries

Abstract

3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid dilithium salt is prepared and propose as additive in cathode to offset the loss of lithium. As Li+ extract from the salt, the organic part come into the electrolyte simultaneously with no remines, leading to a safer and greener lithium-ion battery.
