Turn-on detection of pesticides via reversible fluorescence enhancement of conjugated polymer nanoparticles and thin films

Abstract

Reported herein is the significant fluorescence enhancement of conjugated polymer nanoparticles in the presence of aromatic organochlorine pesticides. This pesticide-mediated fluorescence enhancement leads to reversible pesticide detection systems with high sensitivity (as low as 5 μM), as well as significant generality and straightforward reversibility.
