Fluorescence enhancement of DHLA protected gold nanoclusters in the presence of salt

Abstract

A new method for the enhancement of fluorescence of DHLA protected gold nanoclusters with the assistance of sodium citrate salt has been proposed. The mechanism for fluorescence enhancement has been investigated. Furthermore, DHLA protected gold nanoclusters have been investigated in the presence of several other kinds of salts. The influence of various kinds of salts on their fluorescence behaviour has also been summarized.
