Recent developments in low-cost TM-catalyzed Heck-type reactions (TM = transition metal, Ni, Co, Cu, and Fe)

Abstract

Heck-type reactions are powerful tools for the creation of new C–C bonds. These reactions are typically catalyzed by precious Pd. From an economic point of view, using low-cost transition metals (TMs) in place of Pd is a promising protocol. In recent years, scientists have made great efforts to investigate low-cost TM-catalyzed Heck-type reactions and have achieved many positive results. In this study, we summarize the recent developments of Heck-type reactions with low-cost TMs as the catalysts.
