Jet dispensing as a high throughput method for rapid screening and manufacturing of cocrystals

Abstract

Jet dispensing printing technology was investigated as a method for high throughput screening and manufacturing of pharmaceutical cocrystals. Organic solutions of indomethacin and saccharin were rapidly dispensed via jet dispensing by investigating a wide range of parameters such as drug–coformer stoichiometric ratios, solvent grade and solid content amounts while the obtained cocrystals were subsequently characterised.
