Nanocrystalline cellulose grafted phthalocyanine: a heterogeneous catalyst for selective aerobic oxidation of alcohols and alkyl arenes at room temperature in a green solvent†
Abstract
Copper-tetrasulfonate phthalocyanine was incorporated on cellulose nanocrystals to act as a high yield, heterogeneous, and selective catalyst for the aerobic oxidation of alcohols and alkyl arenes to the corresponding carbonyl groups in an aqueous green solvent.
